There are lot of things to do at TechEd, attend presentations, perform hands-on labs, visit the exhibition, and so on. There is even the Channel 9 studio, broadcasting live from the show floor.
After watching the keynote online, I went to the instructor-led labs, where I was scheduled to proctor a lab presented by Symon Perriman on Application Management with System Center 2012 R2. In the meantime, Cliff Hobbs, an MVP on Enterprise Client Management from UK, was assisting the attendees at the self-paced hands-on labs. Then we switched shifts, I was at the self-paced labs and he went to the Endpoint Protection instructor-led labs.
During the evening we had the TechExpo Welcome Reception, where Microsoft employees and MVPs alike were discussing at the booths with attendees.
