Full conference room today at the Winter Codecamp in Cluj-Napoca, an event organized by Codecamp and ITSpark communities. And 4 MVPs presenting.
The agenda of the event was the following:
- Managing code quality with SonarQube – Radu Vunvulea
- Building web applications with HTML 5 and related technologies – Mihai Tătăran
- Comparing Microsoft Cloud with VMware Cloud – Tudor Damian
- Manage Private and Public Cloud Services with System Center 2012 R2 – Adrian Stoian
The Developer sessions in the morning were higly appreciated. People were standing in the crowded room. Radu Vunvulea discussed code quality metrics and Mihai Tataran presented how to use the new HTML5 features to build web applications.
In the afternoon, at the IT Pro sessions we had a smaller, but very interested audience. Tudor Damian made a very detailed comparison between Microsoft Cloud and VMWare Cloud technologies.
In my session I presented the configuration of a Private Cloud based on Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V and System Center 2012 R2, starting from the fabric – virtualization hosts, networking and storage – continuing with the configuration of VM Templates, Profiles and Service Templates, and in the final I discussed how to provide self-service access to the users by using App Controller and Windows Azure Pack.
The sessions have been recorded by TechReady.TV and will be posted online, one week after the event.
Big thank you for the sponsors, Yonder and Thomsons, who made the event possible.
There are two more events scheduled, on Jan 24, 2014 in Brasov (sold out) and on Jan 25, 2014 in Sibiu.
Later edit: The recording of my session is available on Techready.TV.
